The Brick Tavern

Featured on Northern Exposure as the town watering hole, The Brick is the oldest continuous operating Saloon in the State of Washington. Great food, lots of noise, lots of history and stories plus live music on week-ends. Catch the match stick boat races in the fresh water spittoon that runs the full length of the bar. Don’t forget Taco Tuesday if your in the area, it’s the best value around.

Cle Elum Bakery

Family-owned bakery for generations. The ovens haven’t cooled since 1904. A history of fine bakery goods, get there early on Saturday because people from all over the Northwest take the time to pull off Interstate I-90 to grab some pastry or their famous French Bread. Personal favorites are their Raised Sugar Dounuts and Torchettis. Call ahead to order for pick-up. Have the family stop for breakfast or lunch at their Bakery House.

El Caporal Mexican Restaurant

Great Mexican atmosphere and cuisine. Reminds you of Las Margaritas. Speaking of Margaritas, there’s a great selection, try the “Cadillac.” You won’t find it on the menu. The service is excellent and prompt. You’ll probably be greeted by an always jovial “Tino.” Tino will get your delicious entrée to you fast and hot. Also, adjoining the restaurant is Tino’s Sports Bar.

Homestead BBQ Restaurant

Just outside the east end of town, one of the most amazing BBQ restaurants you’ll ever find. Amazing BBQ sauce surprisingly delicious salads and deserts. Excellent service.

Los Cabos

For a great Mexican Dining experience this is a must. Try the crispy soppapias and most all authentic Mexican dishes. The Bar is stocked with some of the best assortment of Tequilas you’ll ever find. Oh yes, be sure to say high to José and ask him to sing to you.
